The view towards Ullswater today as we walked up to check on the Gowbarrow footpath and make some repairs to the power barrow. #Gowbarrow #Ullswater #Cumbria #TheLakes #LakeDistrict #TheLakeDistrict #NationalTrust #igerslakedistrict #igerscumbria #LakesCo

Ideal conditions for today’s helicopter lift. We moved 45 additional bags for repair work on the Loughrigg path. Nice to see a young Adder up near the summit while marshalling and to hear the returning Cuckoo again. ☀️

A good display of Bluebells around Loughrigg Terrace this last week. We’ve been working nearby continuing the repairs on the footpath up to the summit. #Bluebells #Grasmere #LoughriggTerrace #Loughrigg #LoughriggFell #Cumbria #TheLakes #LakeDistrict #TheL

View from Brackenfell, where we’ve spent the last week moving 600m worth of fencing materials ready to replace a nearby stock-fencing. We’ve managed to move everything by power barrow but the last few hundred metres is too rough so will need to be carried
