Walking up to the rock collection site at the end of the valley at Greenburn, near Grasmere, this morning. Over the last couple of weeks we’ve been filling bags with stone ready to be flown across to Bracken Hause for path repairs. We’ll be starting work
Ideal conditions for today’s helicopter lift. We moved 45 additional bags for repair work on the Loughrigg path. Nice to see a young Adder up near the summit while marshalling and to hear the returning Cuckoo again. ☀️
