環境省による地球温暖化防止のための活動「ライトダウンキャンペーン 」。
16年目を迎える今年も、本日6月21日（木）〜7月7日（土）の期間実施されます。
この活動に賛同し、和光では特別実施日である夏至の本日6月21日（木）と、七夕の7月7日（土）各日20:00〜22:00の2時間、和光本館の時計塔文字盤部分を除いた3階より上層部のライトダウンを行います。
