世界文化遺產臨済宗天龍寺為京都五山中之首，足利尊氏紀念天皇所創建，後續因為戰亂上幾乎燒毀，目前都是明治時代所重建，而其中最著名由日本國寶大師夢窗疏石所作「曹源池庭園」，景色非常美麗令人讚嘆，非常值得買票入內欣賞。
