蛾や蠅などをトンボが食べてしまうので、トンボの出現ととともに害虫の数が減ります。窓を開けっぱなしにしても、虫があまりはいってこないので、少し冷えた秋の風を気持ちよく感じながら、和室の縁側やロビーで過ごすことができます。ここは山中なので、クーラー無しで窓からの風に当たって過ごせるのは、虫が少ないこのシーズンの魅力です。
