本日の #ふげん社の本 は、アリシア・ベイ＝ローレルの『地球の上に生きる』（深町真理子訳、草思社）です。本著は生活費を稼ぐためにせっせと机で事務をするよりも、森で木を切っていたいという人のために書かれた本です。工場で生産される消費物資に、なるべく頼らずに生活する方法を、ゆるやかなイラストと文章で簡単にまとめてあります。たとえば、バックパッキング、小屋の作り方、野外料理、セッケンの作り方、楽器の作り方、服の作り方、染め物、農作業、漢方薬、カゴの作り方、など。
