【鎌倉 ギャッベ展＆ギャッベ織ワークショップ】
秋の鎌倉での展示会は、いよいよ明日までとなりました。本日は快晴のお散歩日和です。

ギャッベとは、イランの遊牧民「カシュガイ族」の織る手織絨毯のこと。自分たちが育てた羊の毛を刈り、紡ぎ、草木で染め、目の前の風景や自分たちの願 い事を即興で織り上げていきます。
その柄や手触りはひとつひとつ異なり、想像性に溢れています。ギャッベ織りの技術は、世界無形文化遺産に2010年ユネスコに登録されました。
