友人夫婦が営なむ「榮椿(えいちん)」さんの
一口サイズの"まるカステラ" ♪
・
かつて王朝時代、首里には王府の庇護の下
寺院が多くあり12支それぞれの守り本尊が
充てられ、人びとは時節のおりおりに
自身や家族の為にそれらの本尊を巡拝する
習わしがありました。
・
私の祖母も生前、その習わしに従って
家族の干支を祀る寺社を巡っており、
幼少時代はそのお伴をした記憶があります。

時代の移り変わりを経て、
現在は12支の守り本尊は
4つの寺社で祀られて
