米海軍により1950年代後半にジャケットと共に開発され、60年代に多く使用された。
3ピースパネルで構成された浅めの作り。
主にシャンブレーシャツ、ダンガリートラウザーズと共に作業服として用いられた。
70年代に入ると新たなユーティリティユニフォームが開発され生産を終えるが、その後も新旧ユニフォームが重複して着用されていた。
