We’ve been busy at work in Great Langdale over the last week building tree cages in the valley bottom. We’ll plant them up shortly with a variety of tree species to help improve the age structure and add to the diversity of trees in the area.

Ideal conditions for today’s helicopter lift. We moved 45 additional bags for repair work on the Loughrigg path. Nice to see a young Adder up near the summit while marshalling and to hear the returning Cuckoo again. ☀️
