昨日「デジタルラボPapyrus」にて、10月にふげん社で開催する大西みつぐ写真展「なぎさの日々」のプリント制作を、作家立会いのもとおこないました。
オペレーションを担当したのは、弊ラボ管理人の新納翔 @sho_niiro 。
大西みつぐさんの新作「なぎさの日々」は、1980年代後半、バブルの熱に浮かされて東京臨海に集う人びとの様子を捉えた作品「NEWCOAST」の現代版と言えます。
人工的に作られたビーチに吸い寄せられる人びとはどこかぎこちなさを伴って、不思議な風景を形作っています。
