22日(火)に行われた即位礼正殿の儀には、191の国と地域、国際機関から423名の外国要人が出席されました。
この好機に、議員外交が活発に展開されました。
23日(水)は、日本モルディブ友好議員連盟の事務局長として、ソーリフ大統領との朝食会に出席しました。
