Your widget shows the number of likes and comments only when you turn this on. The counts show when a visitor moves the mouse over a post.

Open the widget

On your dashboard, click the widget.

Change the hover effect

On the Basic tab, set Hover Effect to Likes & Comments. Click Update Preview to check it.

Save the widget

Click Update & Get Widget. You do not need to copy the code again.
Hover Effect is on Grid, Board, Slideshow and Scrolling widgets, free and Pro. Feed and Popup widgets do not have it.
If you hide like counts on a post in Instagram, Instagram does not share the number of likes. The widget then shows 0 likes for that post.
