When you connect your Instagram or Facebook account, you can get an error like this:
Older versions of the message call the setting “off-Facebook activity”. The error means that Your activity off Meta technologies is disconnected for future activity in your Meta settings. While it is disconnected, Meta does not let apps such as SnapWidget connect to your account.

Turn the setting back on

Open your Facebook settings

On Facebook, click your profile picture in the top right. Click Settings and privacy, then Settings.

Open Accounts Center

Click Accounts Center, then Your information and permissions.

Open the setting

Click Your activity off Meta technologies, then Manage future activity.

Connect future activity

Select Connect future activity and confirm.

Connect SnapWidget again

Go back to your widget in SnapWidget. Click Connect (or Reconnect) next to Username and sign in again.
Change the setting on the Facebook profile that you sign in with. Meta can move these menus. If you cannot find them, see Meta’s help page Manage your future activity off Meta technologies. Still not able to connect? Email support@snapwidget.com.
